Additionally, knocked-out or dislodged teeth should warrant immediate attention at an emergency dental clinic.

An abscess or severe infection poses potential life-threatening risks and necessitates prompt medical intervention. Failure to treat the infection swiftly may lead to its spread.

A tooth that is misaligned or loose should be evaluated by a dentist as soon as possible. Light pressure can be applied to reposition the tooth until you can visit the dentist.

Injuries within the oral cavity, such as tears to the lips, cheeks, or gums, should be regarded as dental emergencies. If these injuries are deemed too severe for treatment in the dental office, you may be referred to the nearest Accident & Emergency department.

Any dental issue that demands immediate attention to preserve a tooth and mitigate ongoing pain and bleeding should be treated with urgency.

Patients with fixed metal braces may experience soft tissue injuries and damage to the braces following a facial trauma. It is imperative to seek dental care promptly to assess the extent of the damage. Stitches may be necessary for the inside of the cheek, and repairs may be needed for the braces.
